Not meant to be offensive. Most pictures were jokes by the artists.
Too many cliches.
Too many cliches.
This is why it is not a good idea to make a character without inspiration. Your character ends up boring and annoying in some peoples eyes. Cliched ocs are usually stereotypical. The worst thing? BACKSTORIES.
EXAMPLES:
(Stereotype) Emily is the blonde chick at school. She always walks around with her two best friends, making snide comments about anyone that is unlucky enough to come across her.
(Cliche on cliche) William is thought to be emotionless. His parents were killed in front of him when he was a kid, and he has been on the run ever since. He is also very skilled at combat. He has white hair and red eyes which match his scary personality. No other information is known about him; including his last name.
*sigh* Overuse of Japanese words.
Do I even need to explain?
EXAMPLE:
Yuki-chan is the school yandere! She is kawaii desu! Don't touch her senpai-sama! She loves her pet neko! NYA!
Overpowered
This isn't always bad, but if you are making an oc for a fanbase such as Undertale or Sonic, don't make the character any stronger than the main character(s).
EXAMPLES:
(Fairy Tail) Shanon is an infinity dragon slayer.
(Attack on Titan) Darien ranked #1 in his class.
(Divergent) Gabby is divergent. She switched from Amity to Dauntless and is #1 in her class.
Related to the stories characters.
This doesn't need an explanation or an example.
Character Thief/Just plain trash
This includes recolors, and taking ideas from other characters and mashing them together.
EXAMPLE:

Simba after a tan.
That is literally Sunset Shimmer with braided hair, a different coat, and a different cutie mark.
Why would you blind me like this? The colors are too much.
Cats aren't supposed to have skittle dipped fur, or rainbow eyes.
This is supposed to be a Sonic oc.
Please have mercy.

I looked at the description for this art and it is the artists character in the PPG style. So that means this is not a PPG oc.
The art is amazing! But... seriously. Titan shifter x Levi.
